Long before Singular Leaf was founded, a close friend of mine travelled through Taiwan to discover its remarkable tea culture.
His journey took him to tea plantations, where he met local growers, observed the harvesting process and experienced traditional tea tasting firsthand.
The photographs from that journey capture real moments among the tea fields and the people who dedicate their lives to producing Taiwanese tea.
Years later, these experiences and personal connections helped us take the first steps towards bringing Taiwanese tea to the Netherlands.
